WHAT IS THE HABITAT NORTHUMBERLAND RESTORE?
The Habitat ReStore is our home and building supply store that accepts and resells quality new and used building materials and home decor items. Shopping at the ReStore is a socially conscious decision, as funds generated help us build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership in our community. It is also an environmentally conscious decision as much of the product sold is new, gently-used or customer returns that might otherwise end up in landfill. ReStore shoppers save between 30% and 80% on all our items. Profits from our ReStore go towards building homes so that local families can become mortgage-paying homeowners!
 
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I BUY SOMETHING?
When you buy an item from our online ReStore, you will receive an email confirmation. If we have already sold out of the item we will contact you right away and refund to your card.
 
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY ITEM(S)?
The items you purchase will be available at our Habitat Northumberland ReStore located at 764 Division Street in Cobourg. DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC Your item(s) can be picked up CURBSIDE at a designated pick-up date and time. Please arrange your pick-up time before visiting the store. Items can be picked up from the front of the store. Call 905-207-4996 when you arrive at the parking lot and an employee will place your purchase at the curb. Bring help to load any heavy items into your vehicle as ReStore staff will not be able to assist you.
 
WHAT IF THE PICK UP TIME DOES NOT WORK FOR ME?
If there is an issue with the date or time please contact our store and we will work with you to find a suitable time.
 
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
If you decide you do not want to take the item after seeing it at the ReStore curb or before the pick-up date, we will refund you the full amount. AFTER you have taken item(s) from the ReStore parking lot the sale is considered FINAL. (Please note that refunds through Shopify may take up to 10 days to be processed.)
 
ARE THE ITEMS NEW OR USED? WHAT IS THE CONDITION?
Some items are new and some are used. We receive many goods from cancelled and returned orders, so there is a possibility through shipping and handling that items will have some scratching and or wear. We will not refund or discount the already reduced priced items due to light wear. If concerned about the condition we recommend calling for more information.

CAN I HAGGLE OVER PRICES?
No. Our ReStore prices are already steeply discounted. If an item has been on the ReStore floor for a long time, the managers may reduce it further. Please remember that the profits from our ReStore help build houses for local families to help them become mortgage-paying homeowners.
